E-mail: Contact 		Grew up in St Leonards, attending Hastings High in the 1070s...On this wet 1st June was telling my kids about bottle alley, where we used to walk the dogs on wet days - and found the pictures here. Appalled that the council are considering demolition. Is there a petition anywhere to sign? Or a Facebook group? I'd hate to think it had gone...surely nowhere like it anywhere else on earth!

Google. Summerfields is etched in my memory, and the few photographs brought it back to life. A forgotten world glimpsed again briefly.

E-mail: Contact 		I was researching an old magic lantern slide of a clock tower circa 1890. I have searched the country for this clock and as it was with other slides of Battle thought of Hastings. Low and behold there it was on your site. I think its an earlier photo than you have on your site but nonetheless it was wonderful to see the comparison. Thank you so much. E-mail: Contact 		Found the site by surprise. Also, I was surprised to find my picture in the Hastings Grammar School picture 1960. Further surprised to see my old friend Andre "Drip" Waters, with whom I delivered newspapers and rode to school. I will stay in touch.
