minimum age 16, entrants must live, work or study in Hastings or St Leonards.

Entry forms for the Old Town Pram Race are only available from Nikki at "The Cutter" and are restricted to the first 50 applicants.

Advance notice, Hastings Old Town Carnival Week 2010 will be officially opened on Saturday July 31st 2010 and the Grand Carnival Procession 2010 will be on Saturday 7th August, Carnival Queen Selection Evening - East Hastings Sea Angling Association Clubhouse (the one near the Lifeboat House) Sunday 11th April 2010

The Hastings Old Town Carnival has been in existence since 1968. In those days Hastings and St Leonards had their own carnival which missed out the Old Town so old towners decided to have their own, better, carnival. As time went by the Old Town event got better and better and the other one, sadly, fizzled out. As a parting gift they gave us the right to the title "Miss Hastings" so our Old Town Carnival Queen is also Miss Hastings. Hastings Old Town Carnival is run by an unpaid band of dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers and we welcome new members. - you don't have to join at the AGM, just e-mail us for details.
